While we gradually resume routine eye care, we have adopted the latest guidelines from the College of Optometrists of Ontario, including the following:
Physical distancing
Patients and staff in the office maintain a 6-foot distance
Protective equipment
Front desk barrier installed. Staff members wearing masks, gloves and eye protection. Patients asked to wear a mask, which is available for purchase.
Frequent Cleaning
Each area of the office has a thorough cleaning procedure & schedule as recommended by the Colleg
Daily Fitness to work
Daily health screening questions to determine if staff is in good condition to report to work.
Alcohol Based Hand Rub
Available for use upon arrival.
Occupancy Limits & Appointment Spacing
Appointments are spaced accordingly to give enough time for disinfecting before and after patients. The number of people allowed in the clinic is reduced.
Clinic Hours
Open on weekends & evenings with designated time slots for patients age 65+ and higher risk groups.
Curbside pickup
Prepay using contactless methods and pick up your eye care and eyewear products at our door.
